Women on the Way Recovery Center is a licensed California Drug & Alcohol nonprofit organization that provides a safe and loving home where women can regain their health, mental stability and dignity through a program of recovery and education. Our mission is to empower our graduates to become productive, successful members of society, with the necessary skills, education, and vocational training to remain clean and sober, and in control of their lives.

In 1996, Liz Mann founded the program under its original name Women of Faith Recovery Home.  Due to her own personal past with drug addiction and recovery, she was committed to helping women choose a different way of life.  Her vision led her to develop a structured, faith-based, safe-haven where abused, addicted, battered, and betrayed women could be empowered by their growing faith to seize control of their lives.

Women on the Way has grown into a successful organization providing women with a safe and loving environment offering a structured program, spiritual twelve step recovery and case management. Women on the Way has had the opportunity to help hundreds of women regain their lives and see miracles of transformation take hold of their lives and the lives of their families.

Women on the Way Recovery Center (WOTW) is a California licensed residential drug and alcohol nonprofit 501C(3) tax exempt organization. Women of the Way have locations in Hayward, San Leandro and Oakland.
